and here's the baffling thing, as a MFD, Epson dont just block your ability to print, you can't scan either. Its ropey but the subscription model is life now right

I'm sorry @EpsonUK its a great idea this subscription service thing in principle, but you need to do more on the cust. serv. bit when there's an account issue, rather than just brick the printer & expect the user to log into their Epson account to manage their plans/subs.

you know, I sung Epson's ready-print subscription service as a great thing, its awful. Offshore contact centre afternoon based fun because my printers fully bricked due to a account issue - this is the future. Printers were unreliable enough as it is - Eeeeeeesssshhh
